So far I have ascended into the higher class of Assassin. Which basically meant I got my real class instead of the starter one as well as escaped the starter zone. This gave me a good taste of normal missions and some of the trade skills.
Characters are created as 4 classes then each branches off two two more. You have the two Fighter style classes, two Skill classes, two magic classes and two holy classes. Some skills are shared between the splits but others are unique. Its an interesting alternate way of doing Skill Trees that say WoW uses for Specializations while still keeping the class play different enough to be their own classes.
Crafting and questing are simple but still enjoyable. There is only two types of gathering skills. Basically gathing anything on the ground and gathering things in the air. I haven’t had enough money to get more than Weaponsmithing but all the craft skills give you XP (a small amount but still) for making or gathering things. Quests don’t involve too much travel, usually are easy to medium toughness if you use your class right. I had to once stealth past a ton of enemies to get some documents (would have died if I fought them). The best thing the ‘herthstone’ only has a 20 min cooldown.
