Up first was the front line fighters, but now we are getting into the gray areas of combat. Well to be more specific the Shadows…
System: DnD 3.5
Class: Rogue + Shadow Dancer
Level of Build: 10
Books Required: Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide and Monster Manual III
Build Requirement: Race: Poison Dusk Lizard ; Class Feature: Hide in Plain Sight
Example Character Sheet: Lilly the Invisible
Lilly was from the swamps where the rest of her tribe had lived. But with the harsh way the word worked, she had gained the skills of a thief. Using her Chameleon skin to advantage both in sneaking around and befuddling her foes. The training received later as a Shadow Dancer would only improve these skills. Able to disappear right in front of the witnesses.
On top this hiding ability, the array of items she has acquired and adapted for herself only make her skills more potent. Teleportation, invisibility and even phazing through the battlefield. Hiding and surprising her enemies with both mele and ranged attacks. Out of combat, these are just as useful in order to get inside and steal while not even needing to unlock a window to do so. (As a note, I didn’t give her poisons as each player and situation calls for different poisons. There is extra money left there for her to get some though…)
I gave up on quotes with the last two posts. Just imagine Angelina Jolie as a Lizard folk and you got it.
like in Beowulf?
